Key Responsibilities:
- Menu Development: Create and design an innovative menu that highlights traditional tandoor, dum pukht, and Awadhi cuisine, integrated with modern charcoal grilling techniques.
- Kitchen Management: Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring high standards of food quality, presentation, and hygiene.
- Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and manage kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
- Quality Control: Maintain consistency in taste and presentation, ensuring that all dishes meet the restaurant's high standards.
- Supplier Relations: Source high-quality ingredients and manage relationships with suppliers to ensure a consistent supply chain.
- Cost Management: Monitor food costs, waste, and inventory, implementing cost-control measures without compromising quality.
- Health & Safety: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment.
- Customer Engagement: Interact with customers to gather feedback and make adjustments to enhance their dining experience.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Extensive experience in tandoor, dum pukht, and Awadhi cooking. International experience is preferred.
- Skills: Proficient in modern charcoal grilling techniques and contemporary culinary trends.
- Leadership: Proven ability to lead and manage a kitchen team.
- Creativity: Strong culinary creativity with a passion for innovation.
- Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Education: Formal culinary education is a plus, but not required.
