Job Description
The Executive Career Counsellor is the first point of contact for customers interested in buying a course from Skill-Lync. The role is not to sell Skill-Lync courses but instead to create a profile of each customer based on their needs, desires and ambitions. This profile is used to create a personalised career plan based on which Skill-Lync courses will be recommended to the customer by a team of experts.
This role requires Executive Career Counsellors to make daily outbound calls from a database provided to them, speak to potential customers, create profiles and assess the potential of making a sale, schedule personalised sessions with technical experts and follow-up with customers for attendance of these sessions.

Strong Communication Skills: The ability to thoroughly understand the needs of the customer and clearly communicate the goals of the personalised career plan.
Empathy: Build a personal rapport with the customer over a short telephonic conversation.
Active Listening Skills: The ability to adapt themselves to respond to the customers needs instead of reacting to them. They must be able to ask the right questions and follow up with relevant questions that engage in a coherent conversation.
Product Knowledge: Must be able to thoroughly understand the solutions Skill-Lync offers and provide this information in a timely manner to customers.
Time Management: Must possess the ability to effectively make calls, follow-up with customers at said times and schedule personalised sessions for customers with technical experts.
Self-Motivated: Proactively driven to succeed and achieve set sales targets with minimal supervision.
Analytical Thinking: Must be able to interpret data to derive solutions.
Tech-Savvy: Must be able to use CRM systems effectively to document customer profiles.
A successful Executive Career Counsellor at Skill-Lync is one who can correctly capture all information required to create a Personalised Career Plan for customers, follow through and convince customers to attend the session with satisfaction and coordinate with technical experts and pricing specialists to ensure relevant programs are pitched to the customer.

Work week: 6 days
Working hours: 11:00 AM - 8:00 PM
Location: Chennai (Office-based role)
