Description

Amazon is seeking an exceptionally bright, multitasking, and self-motivated Executive Assistant to support the Area VP of Amazon Web Services India Pvt. Ltd.

This exciting role requires superior attention to detail, the ability to meet tight deadlines, great organizational skills, and the ability to juggle multiple critical requests. A high level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information, and professionalism in dealing with senior professionals inside and outside the company is important.

The successful candidate will possess the ability to complete complex tasks and projects quickly with little to no guidance, react with appropriate urgency to situations that require a quick turnaround, switch gears at a moment's notice, and take effective action without having to know the total picture.

Key job responsibilities

Handle travel requests, including airlines, hotel and cabs. Track and file expense statements. Manage executive calendar, and set up relevant meetings and calls. Coordinate trips by visiting execs from outside India.

Basic Qualifications

  • The right person will possess 8+ years of experience in providing executive support to senior executives.
  • Would have consistently exceeded key performance metrics.
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills are a must, as well as the ability to work effectively across internal and external organizations.
  • This exciting role requires superior attention to detail, the ability to meet tight deadlines, great organizational skills, and the ability to juggle multiple critical requests.
  • A high level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information, and professionalism in dealing with senior professionals inside and outside the company is important, as is a good sense of humor.
  • The successful candidate will possess the ability to complete complex tasks and projects quickly with little to no guidance, react with appropriate urgency to situations that require a quick turnaround, switch gears at a moment's notice, and take effective action without having to know the total picture.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience leading process improvements in a fast-paced, high-tech company
  • Experience designing processes to maximize efficiency
  • Graduate in any discipline. The candidate must also be well versed in office productivity applications like Office. An exposure to manage CRM tools would be an added advantage.
