Job Location: Jalandhar, Punjab
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day financial transactions and entries in compliance with company policies and accounting principles.
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including ledgers, journals, and other financial documents.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements, reports, and analyses as required.
- Reconcile accounts payable and receivable transactions and resolve any discrepancies.
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices, payments, and expense reimbursements.
- Assist in budget preparation and monitoring expenditure against budgets.
- Assist in audits and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Assist VP-Finance as and when needed.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience (1-3 years) as an Accountant, Accounts Executive, or similar role.
- Sound knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets for data analysis and reporting.
- Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks or Zoho and SAP.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial data management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
