Key Responsibilities- Accounts Payable (AP) Management:
- Process Purchase Orders (POs) and ensure proper booking and recording.
- Handle Supplier Receipts (SR) and Invoice Receipts (IR).
- Oversee invoicing, payments, and vendor payment intimations.
- Maintain accurate records of all AP transactions and resolve discrepancies.
- Vendor Onboarding:
- Facilitate the onboarding process for new vendors.
- Ensure all required documentation and compliance checks are completed.
- Accounts Receivable (AR) Management:
- Process Sales Orders (SO) and raise invoices in a timely manner.
- Ensure compliance with GST regulations and manage e-way bills.
- Monitor collections and follow up on outstanding receivables.
- Book Closures:
- Manage monthly book closures, including provisions and prepaid expenses.
- Prepare and review financial reports and reconciliations.
- Compliance Management:
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations including TDS, GST, and Professional Tax (PT).
- Stay updated on changes in financial regulations and implement necessary changes.
- Bank Reconciliation Statements (BRS):
- Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure the accuracy of financial records.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies between bank statements and company records.
Key Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience in accounts payable and receivable, including vendor management and financial compliance.
- Strong understanding of GST, TDS, and other relevant tax regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite (Excel, Word).
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Experience with [specific accounting software] or ERP systems.
- Knowledge of industry-specific financial practices.
