Key Responsibilities:
- General Ledger Reconciliation: Oversee day-to-day accounting tasks performed by the team using Oracle software.
- Parallel Accounting Preparation: Prepare Tally accounting entries in accordance with IGAAP and make adjustments based on Income Tax Act requirements.
- Statutory Compliance: Prepare and manage statutory compliance activities including TDS, EPF, PT, FCRA payments, Form 10B, and Income Tax returns.
- Agreements and Payments: Draft agreements, manage vendor payments, and oversee payroll processing.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare financial statements and provide a concise management summary.
- Audit Compliance: Handle annual audit compliance effectively and complete audits independently.
- Transaction Queries: Address queries related to transactions during the contractual period.
- Bank Relations: Manage relationships with banks.
- Coordination with Auditors: Ensure timely completion of tasks through close coordination with auditors and other stakeholders.
- Communication: Communicate effectively with multiple departments and respond to queries promptly.
- Multi-Department Coordination: Demonstrate strong communication skills to manage and coordinate with various counterparts.
Key Requirements:
- Experience: 4 to 6 years of experience (excluding articleship) with a strong track record in communication and departmental coordination.
- Tax Compliance Knowledge: Working knowledge of GST and income tax regulations.
- Audit and Financial Preparation: Experience in audit coordination and financial statement preparation.
- Team Player: Confident, positive, and a good team player with a strong commitment to the job.
- Client Handling: Experience in client management is a plus.
- Software Knowledge: Proficiency in Tally is essential familiarity with other accounting software such as SAP, QuickBooks, and Microsoft Dynamics are advantageous.
