We are looking for experienced and dedicated ex-Army personnel to join our team as a Mess and Operations Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our mess facilities and ensuring smooth and efficient management.
Manage Mess Operations: Oversee the daily operations of the mess, including meal planning, food preparation, and serving.
- Ensure Quality Standards: Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and food quality.
Supervise Staff: Manage and supervise kitchen and serving staff to ensure efficient workflow and excellent service.- Inventory Management: Monitor and manage inventory levels, ensuring timely procurement of supplies and ingredients.
Budget Management: Manage the mess budget effectively, controlling costs and minimizing waste.
- Health and Safety Compliance: Ensure all operations comply with health and safety regulations.
Customer Service: Address any issues or concerns from staff and clients promptly and professionally.- Event Coordination: Plan and coordinate special events and functions as required.
- Ex-Army personnel with experience in mess or operations management.
Strong leadership and team management skills.- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure.
