Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Event Sales Head to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for generating revenue by selling and promoting events, including corporate events, conferences, weddings, and other special occasions. The Event Sales Manager will work closely with clients to understand their needs, develop customized proposals, and ensure the successful execution of events.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales and Business Development:
- Identify and target potential clients through various channels (networking, cold calling, email marketing, etc.).
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to encourage repeat business and referrals.
- Conduct site visits and presentations to showcase event spaces and services.
- Event Planning and Coordination:
- Collaborate with clients to understand their event objectives and requirements.
- Develop customized proposals and event packages tailored to clients needs.
- Coordinate with internal teams (catering, operations, AV, etc.) to ensure seamless execution of events.
- Client Management:
- Serve as the main point of contact for clients throughout the event planning process.
- Provide exceptional customer service and address any concerns or issues promptly.
- Ensure all contractual obligations are met and exceeded.
- Administrative Duties:
- Maintain accurate records of all sales activities and client interactions using CRM software.
- Prepare and present regular sales reports to management.
- Stay updated on industry trends and competitors to maintain a competitive edge.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of [3-5] years of experience in event sales or a related field.
