As an Event Coordinator at Greenr Cafe, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and executing a variety of events to enhance the customer experience and promote the cafe. This includes private parties, community events, workshops, and other special events. You will work closely with the cafe's management team, clients, and vendors to ensure successful event execution that aligns with Greenr Cafe's brand and values.
Collaborate with the management to develop event concepts that align with Cafe's brand and target audience.
- Plan event details, including themes, schedules, and logistics, ensuring alignment with client needs and cafe goals.
Provide recommendations and customized solutions to ensure a memorable event experience.- Identify, negotiate, and manage relationships with vendors, including caterers, decorators, entertainers, and equipment suppliers.
Develop and manage event budgets, ensuring cost-effective use of resources.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to promote events through social media, email campaigns, and in-cafe advertising.
Oversee event setup, execution, and teardown, ensuring all activities run smoothly and according to plan.- Provide excellent customer service to clients and attendees, addressing any issues or concerns promptly and professionally.
Conduct post-event evaluations to assess event success and identify areas for improvement.
Bachelor's degree in event management, hospitality, business administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an Event Coordinator or in a similar role, preferably within the hospitality or food service industry.
Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to multitask and manage multiple events simultaneously.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, vendors, and team members.
Creativity and attention to detail in planning and executing events.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle challenging situations with professionalism and composure.
Knowledge of local market and vendors in Goa is a plus.- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
