Your Role
The EUC & Collaboration Manager's primary responsibility is to manage the multiple vendors globally who provide the End User Computing (EUC), mobile and Office 365 platform services. The role is also responsible for driving business changes and improvements through EUC, mobile devices and the O365 suite.
The EUC & Collab Manager function will monitor and report on the global EUC, mobile, O365 landscape and devices with a focus on operational excellence, simplification and service improvement.
This entails ensuring the smooth transition & planning of new capabilities and driving continuous improvement & innovation in IT services (and how they are managed).
Key Responsibilities
- Having full responsibility of managing EUC, mobile and O365 (support) vendor(s).
- Working with vendors to drive the design and delivery of identity solutions and understanding the complexities of the solution in relation to environment.
- Driving self-service, process simplification and automation to improve productivity for end users
- Working with the Employee Experience team on creating a department-wide roadmap & strategy.
- Managing escalations for any of the EUC, O365 and mobile incidents.
- Monitoring SLA's and KPIs that can be used by the IT organization when reviewing the IT Service Levels with the business as well as managing the vendor(s) on contractual obligations.
- Reviewing and renegotiating contract renewals with laptop/printer/mobile providers.
- Reviewing and approving device catalogue standards (e.g. device makes / models / specs owning product roadmaps with OEM's).
- Proactively monitoring of device / application/platform health.
- Developing & maintaining user facing strategy documents (e.g. mobile policy / device policy / print policy).
- Preparing monthly management reports detailing performance of EUC, mobile and O365 suite.
- Service catalogue ownership for all services relating to our service line.
- Developing individual and collective training plans to ensure that the EUC & Collab has the skills and knowledge to support and further develop in this area.
Skills & Experiences
- Experience in managing vendors is essential to drive efficiencies in service/cost ideally with vendors of IT hardware and mobile devices.
- At least 6 years broad IT experience with tangible experience in several different areas, breadth, and depth.
- Ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams to achieve desired result.
- Degree in technology-related field, or equivalent work- or education-related experience.
- Proven track record of leading and developing IT teams.
- A clear external lens on IT development and trends that can support the roadmap for IT infrastructure.
- Strong knowledge of managing a Windows 11 based estate.
- Strong understanding of device management solutions (e.g. SCCM / Intune).
- Asset management including device provisioning, automation and management.
- Managing hardware refreshes and rollouts.
- Good understanding of Office 365 components (e.g. Exchange online, SharePoint online, Teams, and OneDrive for Business).
- Broad understanding of identity management (e.g. Active Directory, Azure Active Directory, Azure AD Connect).
- Broad understanding of Azure and AWS.
- Experience of telecoms expense tools.
- Understanding of proactive device monitoring tools (e.g. MS analytics / Aternity).
- Good experience in Intune Device Management.
