Position: Estimation and Design Engineer
Location: Qatar
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years in estimation within the electrical field
- Certifications: UPDA certification required
Skills:
- Proficient in wiring, schematic, and control diagram design for switchgear panels
- Strong knowledge of AutoCAD for drafting and design
- Advanced Excel skills for data analysis and project estimation
Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed estimates for electrical projects, including labor, materials, and time.
- Develop and review schematic and control diagrams for switchgear panels.
- Collaborate with project managers and engineers to ensure accurate project specifications.
- Utilize AutoCAD for creating and modifying design documents.
- Analyze project requirements and specifications to provide cost-effective solutions.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards and best practices.
- Participate in project meetings and provide technical support as needed.
