Conduct comprehensive testing of batteries and gain in-depth understanding of our ESS technology.
Testing of the system during FAT (factory acceptance test) following the test procedures and prepare test and QC reports.
Install, test, and commission batteries at customer sites across various countries.
Support and guide customers in connecting batteries to renewable sources, diesel generators, and various loads.
Flow batteries commissioning also includes filling battery tanks with liquid electrolyte and precharging, adhering strictly to safety standards as outlined in service documents.
Test PCB circuit boards, relays, BMS components, sensor signals, protection components, ACDB, and DCDB prior to system activation.
Configure battery inverters to meet specific country standards.
Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues that may arise during battery operation.
Remotely monitor deployed battery units, track operations, and troubleshoot any issues.
Generate on-site service reports, clearly documenting problem statements and resolutions.
Collaborate closely with the electrical and product team to ensure seamless integration and functionality.
Diploma/Degree in Electrical/Power/Communication Engineering or relevant discipline with minimum 3-4 years of relevant experience in Battery industry, or power management or control Industry.
You should have strong and relevant background in working in a hardware engineering including power at high voltage and current.
You should be familiar with the various power topologies and design considerations
You will be frequently required to travel to sites locally and overseas.
You should be good at on-site problem identification and rectifying.
Hands-on independent problem solver
Possess knowledge on power conversion systems, like AC/DC Inverters, AC-DC chargers and DC/DC converters, UPS, Battery management System (BMS) and Energy Management System (EMS)
Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel
