Description
The ESG Research Team commits to delivering exceptional quality ESG data to the Alternatives Space. This team members will work closely with the other team members as well as those from other departments to ensure the success and development of Preqin's ESG Module, which will offer a unique opportunity to provide meaningful information in an undefined market environment.
The ESG Research Associate will be responsible for collecting and compiling data from our ESG data collection team and contributing to Quality Checking. This will include handling data inquiries from the collection process, monitoring quality and consistency within methodology framework, and client engagement regarding our ESG platform.
What You'll Be Doing
- Conduct quality assessments of our ESG data collection team to correct information relating to the firm, fund and asset-level ESG management practices
- Provide feedback and communicate with the data collection team to ensure all efforts are in line with Preqin's guidance
- Perform ad-hoc tasks as assigned by the Data Project Lead related to data process and quality Work on complex data projects related to data quality, process re-engineering and workflow optimization
- Develop subject matter expertise to enhance our data offering to clients
- Work with stakeholders across various business units to further develop our data product offering
What You'll Bring To Us
- You have a bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or Engineering
- You have 6-12 months of relevant experience
- You have a keen interest in finance and knowledge of financial markets
- You are fluent in English and have excellent writing and communication skills
- You have experience using Microsoft tools such as Excel, SharePoint, and Office 365
- You have Experience working with large databases & excellent Research abilities
