Job Description:
Position: Equity Dealer
Location: Corporate Office, Mumbai
CTC- Upto 25 LPA (Fixed + Variable)
JOB INTENT
The position incumbent is expected to Equity dealers buy, sell and give advice on investment and financial instruments. They deal with fast-changing conditions and large/small transactions. The Dealer executes and closes deals in equity market based on fund manager requirements and also assists the fund manager in actively managing interest rates, yields and credit exposures within the portfolio against prescribed benchmarks.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain quality of Market deals with managing market impact and minimizing risks associated.
- Prevention of trading errors, near errors.
- Allocation of commissions according to the target
- Contribution to the performance by executing deals at best levels.
- Manage higher volume in Equity / Debt / Fixed Income dealings.
- Manage passively managed schemes like Equity ETF(Exchange Traded Funds) and Equity Index schemes.
- Maintain Portfolio sheet to track the various securities within that for possible MTM Gain/Loss.
- Maintain Discipline of being in the market and regular coordination with Brokers and Counterparties.
- Coordination with Back office operations for settlement of deals and Maintenance of Deal Ticket.
- Taking regular feedback from Fund Manager and analyst to ensure uniform and accurate dealing operations.
- Provide quality information to Fund manager, maintain information network with brokers.
- Identify potential trading strategies and offer ideas to manage market impact and risk: Feedback from Fund manager and analyst
Job Specifications
- Working experience of 5 years +
- MBA / CA from a reputed Institute
- Good research and analytical abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to see the bigger picture and strategize accordingly.
- Ability to effectively managing teams to achieve goals assigned
