- Have top-notch Technical skills in XML, ePub, iPad Books, Android Books, Digital Books, Mobile Books.
- Good knowledge of ePub3, CSS3, JavaScript, JQuery, HTML5.
- BE A TECHNICAL EXPERT
- Be up-to-date with ePublishing & eBook Standards such as ePub3, Fixed-Layout ePubs, etc.
- Expertise in ePubs incorporating interactive elements such as audio, video, JavaScripts, etc.
- Create, validate, quality-check & maintain XML / HTML / XHTML / ePub files independently.
- Create interactive books for internet and mobile platforms including iPad & Android.
- Should have hands on experience in ePub automation, XML automation & manual coding.
- Expert in data processing, XML / HTML / XHTML conversion / tag coding.
- HAVE REQUISITE PROGRAMMING SKILLS
- Be an expert in technologies that will create great interactive publishing documents
- Sound knowledge of programming & technologies necessary for iPad books, ePub3, Fixed Layout ePubs, ePub2, interactive books, emerging ePub standards, etc.
SERVICE OMNiON CUSTOMERS
Answer all questions from customers & prospects.
Telephone or write emails to respond to correspondence from customers or to follow up with project updates.
Demonstrate sound technical capability to prospective customers.
Demonstrate sound grasp of new technologies to current customers.
Shift rotation is mandatory [OMNiON services U.S. customers and works 365 days of the year, 24 hours of the day. All team members are required to work six days per week and rotate shifts.].

Sound knowledge of technologies necessary for iPad books, ePub3, Fixed Layout ePubs, ePub2, interactive books, emerging ePub standards, etc.
English language conversational skills.
Programming skills in C, C#, C++, Java are beneficial.
Should be a self starter with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision and manage projects, while adhering to deadlines.
Willingness to accept constructive feedback and apply recommended changes.
Punctuality, good attendance and cooperative attitude essential.
Ability to work late and/or on holidays to meet customer deadlines.
Positive & can do attitude
Should be willing to work in flexible shifts day or night.
Must be willing to relocate to OMNiON offices in Bangalore or Udupi, India
