The Role:
We seek a seasoned professional with over a decade of Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) experience to oversee an effective ERM framework. Responsibilities include developing risk policies, metrics, and reporting systems, aligning risk management with corporate strategy, allocating resources, designating risk owners, and facilitating the execution of the ERM framework. The role involves supporting senior management and the Board/Audit Committee in risk mitigation efforts and ensuring continuous improvement of organizational risk management capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish and communicate ERM vision and role across the organisation.
- Advise and support senior management on risk management activities and best practices.
- Design and implement a customized ERM framework, policies, methodologies, tools and techniques.
- Integrate risk management with strategic management process.
- Collect, analyze and report data and information on risks and mitigation actions.
- Facilitate enterprise-wide risk assessment and monitoring.
- Coordinate with the internal audit department and audit committee on risk management performance and issues.
- Guide and engage risk champions in different functions.
- Ensure risk-informed decision-making and execution.
- Manage risk culture and awareness.
- Review and update risk policies, procedures, reporting templates and framework periodically.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- CA with 10-12 years post Qualification experience in Enterprise Risk Management.
- Enterprise Risk Management Certified Professional (ERMCP) or equivalent.
- Thorough understanding of ISO 31000 or any other relevant Framework.
- Previous experience reporting to Boards or Senior Management Committees.
- Strong presence and ability to interact with senior management.
- Previous experience in auditing and risk assessment is a must.
