ROLE PURPOSE:
We are seeking an experienced Agile ERP Project Manager to oversee the Business as Usual (BAU) of our Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system (Unit4 & Thesis). The Project Manager will be responsible for leading BAU teams, coordinating support activities, managing timelines and budgets, and ensuring successful delivery of the ERP support.
The Project Manager will be responsible for driving the project forward using Agile methodologies, ensuring collaboration, adaptability, and iterative development to deliver business value efficiently.
ROLE and RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Coordinate BAU activities and allocate resources effectively to ensure timely completion using Agile methodologies.
- Lead the ERP project using Agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban, adapting processes to suit project needs.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Empower and support cross-functional Agile teams to deliver high-quality ERP solutions iteratively.
- Break down project deliverables into manageable user stories and tasks, prioritizing them based on business value and dependencies.
- Coach team members on Agile principles, practices, and tools to enhance productivity and effectiveness.
- Use Azure DevOps Board to track and deliver sprint-based delivery.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to keep the BAU delivery on track.
- Ensure adherence to project scope, budget, and quality standards.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to gather requirements, define project objectives, and gain alignment on BAU scope.
- Communicate project status, milestones, and risks to stakeholders regularly.
- Manage stakeholder expectations and resolve conflicts as needed.
- Provide direction, guidance, and support to team members to ensure clarity of objectives and alignment with project goals.
- Identify potential risks and issues that may impact project delivery.
- Develop risk mitigation plans and strategies to address identified risks.
- Proactively monitor and manage risks throughout the project lifecycle.
- Develop and execute change management strategies to facilitate adoption of the ERP system.
- Engage with end-users to understand their needs and concerns and address them effectively.
- Provide training and support to users to ensure smooth transition to the new ERP system.
- Maintain the Release site with the delivery plans and release notes, documentations.
- Establish quality standards and metrics for the ERP project.
- Conduct regular quality reviews and audits to ensure compliance with standards and requirements.
- Implement corrective actions as needed to address quality issues and improve project outcomes.
Requirements
- Candidate with Agile Certification will be preferred.
- Proven experience managing ERP implementation or support projects, preferably with ERP, HCM and Student Management Systems
- Strong project management skills, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource management.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Certification in project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is a plus.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, adapting quickly to change and driving continuous improvement.
