PhonePe in the Offline Organized Business
The PhonePe payment solution for merchants is a multi-instrument payments container and enables
national brands in the Offline Organized Retail space to accept payments digitally from their
consumers. The endeavour is to provide the best-in-class consumer and merchant experience in the
context of digital payments and develop deep partnerships with the merchants in driving various
business priorities.
About the Role
A person in this role would be responsible for managing day-to-day operations for our offline
organized merchant portfolio. This is an individual contribution role, and one would have to own
end-to-end accountability for regular account-management related tasks.
Key Responsibilities
. Collection of documents from partners and maintaining their latest store-details.
. Following up for agreement closures and invoice payments
. Working with internal teams, to ensure timely account launches - by overseeing payment
solution roll-out, training and deployment of collateral at stores
. Helping new external partners understand our dashboard, solutions, support-systems etc.
. Managing regular account-management activities, like query resolutions for merchants and
resolving customer escalations
. Solving payments-related escalations and refunds- & settlement-related issues
. Extracting relevant data points & MIS from our analytics dashboards
. Identifying and activating inactive stores and driving onboarding of franchise stores
. Maintenance of regular housekeeping activities like updated BD funnels, merchant-details &
POC trackers and overall offline repository
. Providing a bridge between merchants operations/accounts teams and our internal
stakeholders
. Sharing insights to Account Managers for entire merchant base in form of trackers using MS
Excel
. Investigating & implementing modern ways of work in terms of shortcuts, formulas, queries,
product enhancement to make daily operational work easy & in reduced time.
Requirements
. MBA/BE/ME from a reputed institution with an experience of 2-4 years in payments
operations / account management. Other degree holders with certification in Advanced
Excel and database management can also be considered
. Excellent proficiency in MS Excel & formulas (Mandatory). Skilled in Macro, MS Access, VB is
an added advantage.
. Proficiency to speak, write in English is must & Speaking Hindi is an added advantage
. Ability to deal with external merchants and manage relationships
. Good communication and stakeholder management skills
. Orientation to execute multiple activities in a seamless manner
. Ability to deal with ambiguity in a fast-paced target focused environment
