Job Description
Our client is seeking an experienced enterprise architect to join their team. This individual will bring a wealth of expertise in digital engineering, application modernization & data/AI to the table. The core responsibilities include consulting for our clients, contributing in business acquisition through solutioning, and spearheading the architectural & design aspects of the execution of client engagements. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in driving our clients digital transformation & modernization journeys, leveraging latest technologies and innovative strategies.
The candidate is expected to be hands-on technologist and should be able demonstrate expertise in modern digital thinking including domain-driven design, APIs, microservices, cloud security and data/AI.
Total Experience: 10 to 20 years. And minimum 5 years of relevant experience in solution or enterprise architect role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a strategic advisor to prospects and clients, during application rationalization or modernization journeys, data/AI implementations or new product development.
- Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to effectively pinpoint use cases, reference frameworks and address technical challenges.
- Work closely with presales on RFIs/RFPs to win deals with technology and architecture differentiation.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, landscape shifts, best practices, and technological advancements to provide informed guidance to clients & internal teams.
- Work closely with the product engineering BU & Data & AI COE to build collective expertise and deliver optimal solutions.
- Review and refine data & product roadmaps regularly to accommodate evolving business requirements and technological progress.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to peers and development teams on architecture principles, methodologies, and best practices.
- Evaluate, compare, and recommend technology solutions, tools, SDKs, components, platforms, and frameworks to support business initiatives and drive innovation
Expertise Required:
- Proven track record in crafting and executing enterprise data/AI and product engineering strategies.
- Application or data infrastructure modernization experience is a big plus.
- Proficiency in translating business objectives into robust solutions with secure and scalable architecture.
- Ability to map internal solutions and blueprints to accelerate customer engagements.
- Ability to work on Tech Strategy for customers is necessary this would include a subset of business strategy, techstack strategy, capability modelling, business gap & opportunity analysis, tech assessments, business cases, portfolio analysis, roadmaps, cost analysis, tech metrics (DORA, etc).
- In-depth knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman) and methodologies.
- Extensive experience in Data Governance, Data Modeling, Data Security, Data Strategy, Data Analytics, Visualization, Data Integration, and Master Data Management (MDM).
- Exposure to AI and Gen AI will be very useful.
- Ability to facilitate rapid prototyping, architecture and design for new projects, fostering innovation and agility.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field; advanced degree ideal.
- 10+ years of progressive experience in digital engineering, cloud, data and/or AI., with a proven track record of leadership and client engagement.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and influence stakeholders at all levels.
Mandatory skills:
- Enterprise data & AI strategy + product engineering execution Business-oriented data & product architecture.
- Proficiency in Data Governance, Modelling, Analytics, Security, Strategy, Integration, and MDM
- Exposure to AWS or Azure cloud platforms, micro-services, security. Rapid prototyping, PoC and project design abilities
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
