Job Summary: The Grade 2 Primary Teacher is responsible for creating a supportive and engaging classroom environment that fosters the academic, social, and emotional development of young students. The teacher will plan and deliver age-appropriate lessons, assess student progress, and work collaboratively with colleagues and parents to ensure each child's success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Instructional Planning & Delivery:
- Develop and implement lesson plans that align with the curriculum standards and meet the needs of diverse learners.
- Utilize a variety of instructional strategies and resources to engage students and support their learning.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that encourages student participation and motivation.
- Assessment & Evaluation:
- Assess and evaluate student performance through regular tests, quizzes, assignments, and observations.
- Provide constructive feedback to students to support their growth and development.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and report findings to parents and school administration.
- Classroom Management:
- Establish and maintain clear rules and procedures to manage student behavior effectively.
- Address and resolve conflicts or behavioral issues in a constructive manner.
- Create and maintain a safe and organized learning environment.
- Student Support & Development:
- Support the social, emotional, and academic needs of students through individualized attention and intervention.
- Foster a supportive and nurturing environment that respects diversity and promotes positive self-esteem.
- Collaborate with school counselors, special education staff, and other professionals to address student needs and provide additional support.
- Communication & Collaboration:
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to provide updates on student progress and address any concerns.
- Participate in parent-teacher conferences, school meetings, and professional development opportunities.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices, resources, and strategies for enhancing student learning.
- Administrative Duties:
- Prepare and organize instructional materials and classroom resources.
- Maintain student records, including attendance, grades, and behavioral reports.
- Contribute to school-wide initiatives and activities as needed.

Pay: 15,000.00 - 25,000.00 per month
