You will join a dynamic, multifaceted Engineering team that is responsible for developing, building platforms and managing tools for the life-cycle management of stateless and stateful workloads in multi-cloud environments for Cisco Federation team. What youll do

The Cisco Umbrella Federation team Develops, builds and manages FedRAMP compliant EKS platform for Umbrella product engineering teams on AWS GovCloud. This role will primarily involve serving as a Technical Lead within the Foundations EKS Engineering team, contributing to the design, development, and support of an enterprise wide FedRamp Kubernetes Clusters in GovCloud. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with architects and engineers to design, build, and continuously improve a suite of automation tools for setting up, configuring, and integrating key cloud-native technologies such as Kubernetes, CI/CD Pipelines, Service Meshs and more. Implement unit and functional tests for new and existing features. Provide support for triage and remediation of customer issues. Work directly with support engineers and customers to address defects and satisfy feature requests. Work with test automation engineers to maintain consistency between code and CICD pipeline test tools. Where appropriate, refactor existing code for performance and stability. Knowledge of EKS, AWS and Terraform will be extremely useful in this role.

Who are you

You are comfortable working in a fast-paced, iterative, and agile environment, with a deep understanding of cloud-native design philosophy. This position will involve responsibilities across major public cloud providers, including AWS, as well as on-prem data centers and/or stores. The individual for Foundations Core Infra team should be passionate about automation, consumer experience, and constantly striving for improvement.
