Role Description
- This is a full-time on-site role for an Engineering Platform Manager in Bengaluru. The role involves managing and maintaining the infrastructure required to support DevOps practices, including cloud platforms, servers, containers, networking components, and storage systems. You'd ensure the availability, performance, and scalability of infrastructure resources to meet the needs of the engineering teams. Additionally, the role expects managing internal teams and vendor support teams from the get go. Hands on experience with GIT Lab preferred.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 10 year of experience and 4 years of relevant experience.
- Proficiency in using GitLab for version control, CI/CD pipelines, project management, and collaboration. Strong understanding of Git workflows, branching strategies, and code review processes.
- Cloud Atlassian Stack: Familiarity with Atlassian tools like Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket for project tracking, documentation, and CI/CD.
- Proficiency in technical project management and software development lifecycle
- Experience in managing engineering teams and implementing engineering best practices
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Knowledge of software development methodologies and tools
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
- Experience in platform architecture and design
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
