We are seeking a skilled and experienced Engineering Manager to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in Python, with additional experience in React JS and TypeScript considered a strong advantage. In this role, you will lead and mentor a team of engineers while remaining actively engaged in technical aspects to drive critical projects to success.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, manage, and mentor a team of engineers, supporting their career growth and development.
- Guide the design and development of software solutions, primarily leveraging Python.
- Work closely with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and successful project delivery.
- Ensure code quality, scalability, and performance by conducting regular code reviews and advocating for best practices.
- Stay hands-on by contributing to the codebase, particularly for high-priority or complex projects.
- Provide technical leadership, especially in Python, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous learning.
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong hands-on experience with Python in a production environment.
- Prior experience leading or managing engineering teams.
- Proven success in delivering scalable, high-quality software solutions.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities, with the skill to inspire and guide a team.
- Familiarity with React JS and TypeScript is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a fast-paced startup or tech-driven environment.
- Understanding of modern development practices, including CI/CD, DevOps, and cloud technologies.
