Job Description
We are seeking a Director of Software Services to oversee various aspects of the company's engineering and operations. This role demands a seasoned professional with extensive experience in service delivery and multiple delivery implementations involving cloud, big data, and product engineering.
Team
- Responsible for leading a team of approximately 100-120 members, including delivery managers, project managers, and their respective teams.
Role Details
Leadership and Management:
- Manage delivery managers and project managers to ensure successful delivery implementation for enterprise clients.
- Lead and coordinate delivery for multiple accounts across different geographical locations and domains.
Service Delivery
- Oversee the execution of service delivery processes, ensuring high-quality outcomes and client satisfaction.
- Implement best practices for project management and delivery to streamline operations and improve efficiency.
Strategic Oversight
- Develop and execute strategic plans for the growth and development of the engineering services division.
- Ensure alignment of delivery activities with the overall business objectives and client requirements.
Client Engagement
- Foster strong relationships with key clients to understand their needs and deliver tailored solutions.
- Independently manage and grow 1-2 key accounts, ensuring client satisfaction and business expansion.
Financial Management
- Manage a budget and delivery charter ranging from USD 10 million to 30 million.
- Ensure projects are delivered within budget and meet financial targets.
Technology Implementation
- Lead multiple delivery implementations, with a preference for Azure cloud-related projects.
- Drive innovation and continuous improvement in service delivery methodologies, leveraging the latest technologies in cloud and big data.
Experience
- Proven track record of leading multiple delivery implementations, with a strong preference for Azure cloud-related projects.
- Experience in managing a team of at least 100 employees, including delivery and project managers.
- Successfully managed a financial charter of USD 10 million to 30 million.
- Demonstrated ability to independently manage and grow at least 1-2 key accounts.
