Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, and with data structures/algorithms.
- 5 years of experience launching software products, and 3 years of experience with software design and architecture.
- 3 years of experience in a technical leadership role; overseeing projects, with 2 years of experience in a people management, supervision/team leadership role.
Preferred qualifications:
- 2 years of experience building and developing large-scale infrastructure, distributed systems or networks, or experience with compute technologies, storage, or hardware architecture.
- Experience with cloud WAN, networking infrastructure, software defined networking, security and network cost optimization with Google Cloud Platform or other public cloud platforms.

- Build a team of engineers that own the design and implementation of various GCP networking cloud services and infrastructure components.
- Drive software best practices for the team.
- Develop and implement plans to achieve the team goals and continuously improve the team performance.
- Set the strategy for the team.
- Represent the team to senior management and other stakeholders.
