Engineering Manager

Purpose

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager with a strong background in Artificial Intelligence to join our team in Kolkata. The ideal candidate will have 5-8 years of experience in the AI industry and possess key skills in Application (Frontend, backend) Engineering, database, QA, Cloud, and DevOps. As an Engineering Manager, you will play a crucial role in leading and managing a team of engineers, testers and devops to drive the development and implementation of AI-based solutions. Experience

7-12 years of experience in product-based companies and served as engineering managers.

Roles and Responsibilities

As an Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for:

Leading and managing a team of engineers to develop and implement AI-based solutions

Collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive the design and architecture of AI applications

Overseeing the application engineering process, including design, development, testing, and deployment

Setup skeleton and best practices in building frontend applications using React, NextJs, backend python REST APIs using Fast API

Implementing best practices for cloud infrastructure and ensuring optimal performance and scalability

Driving DevOps processes to streamline development, testing, and deployment workflows

Providing technical guidance and mentorship to team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development

Contributing to the strategic planning and execution of AI projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives

Identifying and mitigating technical risks, and proactively addressing technical challenges

Staying updated with the latest advancements in AI technologies and integrating relevant innovations into project development

Education Qualification

Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field
