Responsibilities must have, but are not limited to:
- Research and Development of POCs for the Reservation Operation customer engagement domain.
- Determine feasibility and Return on Investment of adopting newer market trends and technologies in the development space, interacting with business and product owners to define technical solutions and communicate these to varied technical and non-technical audiences.
- Production issue triage and prevention as needed, release management support from a planning and communication standpoint, and overall backlog maintenance.
- Manage IVR projects from inception to implementation to QA to launch and rollout.

- Lead teams working on Reservation Operations by helping them identify solutions to business needs.
- Understand the Res IVR and Contact Center operations.
- Mentor and build the team while delivering innovative and efficient solutions for critical mission-vital Reservation Operations applications.
- Negotiate between multiple projects, business leaders, and technical teams to deliver market leading solutions.
- Recruiting, hiring, and retaining the industry best talent for the team.
- Build a roadmap and set a team vision in alignment with organizational goals and driving these to successful outcomes
- Collaborate with the portfolio Directors, General Managers, Managers, Dev teams, Architects & other partners on deliverables for the Reservation Operation and Customer Engagement domain.
What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications):
- BS/MS, preferably in a technical or scientific field, with 12 or more years of experience in an Agile environment, or any equivalent combination of experience, education, and/or training
- Strong leadership ability with a track record of developing people and achieving challenging objectives
- Be an excellent problem solver.
- Experience engineering software within an Amazon Web Services (AWS) and RedHat OpenShift cloud infrastructure or other prominent enterprise cloud provider is required.
- Data management and processing technologies including relational database technologies (MySQL, Oracle, AWS Redshift, or Snowflake) and nonrelational database.
- Experience working Data ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) design, implementation, and maintenance on a large scale.
- Experience developing software using Java, Spring Boot, Angular, JavaScript, AWS, SQL,
- Experience developing and deploying RESTful microservices and using Swagger, JSON, Postman
- Test Driven Development
- Airline industry knowledge is a plus
