Job Summary
The Technical Sales executive/ Manager will be responsible for driving business growth and maximizing revenue within a designated region for a robotics products company. This role focuses on acquiring new customers, enhancing existing customer relationships, and achieving sales targets to drive business revenue. The Technical Sales Executive/ Manager will be the primary contact for customers, ensuring their needs are met and that sales goals are exceeded.
Key Responsibilities
- Business Development:
- Identify and target new business opportunities and potential customers within the assigned region.
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to expand market presence and achieve revenue growth.
- Conduct market research to understand customer needs, industry trends, and competitive landscape.
- Customer Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a high level of service.
- Conduct regular meetings with key customers to review their needs and identify opportunities for additional sales.
- Sales Execution:
- Achieve and exceed sales targets and quotas set for the region.
- Prepared and delivered compelling sales presentations and product demonstrations to potential customers.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing with customers to close deals and secure business.
- Revenue Enhancement:
- Implement strategies to increase revenue from existing customers through upselling and cross-selling of robotics products and services.
- Monitor sales performance and adjust strategies as needed to meet revenue goals.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute promotional campaigns and sales initiatives.
- Market Analysis:
- Analyze regional sales data and market trends to identify growth opportunities and potential challenges.
- Provide feedback to the product development and marketing teams regarding customer needs and market conditions.
- Reporting and Documentation:
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline status.
- Prepare and present regular reports on sales performance, including progress against targets, revenue forecasts, and market insights.
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with the sales support and technical teams to ensure successful product implementation and customer satisfaction.
- Coordinate with the supply chain and operations teams to ensure timely delivery and fulfillment of customer orders.
- Target Achievement:
- Set and manage personal and team sales targets, ensuring alignment with company goals.
- Monitor progress towards targets and take proactive measures to overcome obstacles and drive success.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degree or relevant certifications are a plus.
- Experience: More than 5+ years of experience in sales, preferably in the robotics or manufacturing industry, with a proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
- Skills:
- Strong sales skills with the ability to identify and capitalize on business opportunities.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in CRM software and sales analytics tools.
- Ability to understand and articulate the technical aspects of robotics products.

Working Conditions
- Hours: Full-time position with standard business hours. Some travel within the region may be required to meet with customers and attend industry events.
