Job Description
Primary Responsibilities
- Drive technical solutions and participate in reviews with internal design team, sub-suppliers, and solution providers
- Designing components to meet design requirements such as functionality, robustness, and cost-effectiveness
- Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, drawings, routing instructions, manuals, and specifications
- Understand GD&T and apply it during the programming process
- Use of CAD to create part models and geometry as needed
- Use of CAM programming on multi-axis mill-turn machines
- Use of CGTech Vericut for NC file verification prior to manufacturing release
- Maintain revision and quality control on programs, tool sheets, and setup documentation

- Ownership Steps up to take additional responsibility of unplanned activities and unforeseen scenarios
- Velocity and Quality Meet timelines within the quality benchmarks (i.e., Coverage, Complexity, Usability and Bug-Free)
- Collaboration Strong peer review standards and mentoring Juniors
Skills Required
Must Have:
CAD incl. 3D modelling and 2D drafting experience with SolidWorks.
3+ years of hands-on experience with SolidWorks
3+ years of hands-on experience with PLM/ PDM
3+ years of hands-on experience with CAD/ CAM
