Brief Description Of Job
Responsible for hardware / firmware design, development and engineering of products using latest technologies and ensuring completion of projects & products in a timely and cost-effective manner.
Experience: - 3 5 years - For Engineer Role
5 7 years - For Senior Engineer Role
Smart candidates with less experience may be encouraged too.
Educational Qualification: Bachelor's / master's degree in engineering
Embedded Systems / Computer Science / Electronics & Communication
Skill set: Essential
- Embedded System Knowledge
- Fully conversant in Hardware design methodologies
- Good Analog, Digital System Design experience
- Knowledge of PLD, CPLD, FPGA design
- Familiarity in firmware development with C, VHDL / Verilog
- Familiarity with defence / industrial qualification standards
Skill set: Desired
- Exposure to development tool suites (added advantage)
- Knowledge of verification & validation methodologies
Other Attributes
- Excellent Oral/Written Communication Skills.
- Willing to take ownership, ambitious.
- Aptitude to learn new technologies & skills.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Design, develop & engineer embedded sub-systems & products.
- Lead technical roadmap development for the products.
- Prepare HW architecture, partitioning, design - block level to schematics.
- Prepare prototypes, carry out field trials, etc.
- Modularize existing products electronics design.
- Facilitate peer & expert reviews of design.
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to develop and qualify products to meet specification, reliability, and regulatory requirements.
- Analyse & optimise implementation with available system resources.
- Participate in integration and validation activities.
- Support product QA activities
- Provide installation / commissioning and post-delivery support.
