Job Description

  • Experience in Closure Design and Development

  • Hands-on experience in BIW Closure Systems and their Subsystem Designs
  • Hands-on experience in Part Development/supplier interaction
  • Basic understanding of Design/Design changes on Doors, Tailgates, and Hood Parts (Inner/ Outer panel, Reinforcement, Hinges, etc.)
  • Sound knowledge of Engineering and System Documents like DFMEA, DVP, and DFA
  • Good technical knowledge of Automotive Sheet Metal Parts, Manufacturing, and Assembly Processes
  • Ability to prepare and deliver presentations of the concepts/master section
  • Experience in executing at least one complete project of Doors, Tailgates, and Hood Parts for a passenger car project
  • Experience in CATIA/UGNX and PLM software like Team Center
  • Ability to perform Tolerance Stack Up and GD&T will be an added advantage
