About the Team

The Toyota Connected Information Security program identifies and addresses the cyber security and privacy challenges across our products and operations, delivering layered security controls, and mitigating critical threat vectors. Toyota Connected India is hiring experienced IAM Security Engineer at Bangalore/Chennai to ensure that applications and services are secured and implemented with best security practices. Secops team is responsible to provide data protection, configure cloud security defenses, collect and analyze platform logs, cloud identity management, access control and container security for our mobility, safety, and convenience services and ensures the overall security of internal systems and critical internal data protection.

Job Description

Toyota Connected India is looking for talented IAM Security Engineer who can design, implement, and maintain Identity and Access Management technologies to ensure audit and privacy compliance. Support enterprise IAM initiatives by driving automation wherever possible. This person will be responsible to drive programs that improve access management infrastructure across TCIN, develop policies and procedures for the identity lifecycle, assist with any IAM architecture reviews and integrations and resolving any security issues related to IAM operations.

This person specializes in IAM architecture security and integrations, coding/scripting tools, two-step verification systems, and IAM protocols such as SSO/SAML, OAuth/OIDC, and SCIM and plays an integral role in protecting Toyota Connected India identity systems.

What you will do

• Function as a subject matter expert for IAM security within TCIN.
• Design, develop, and implement IAM solutions to manage access control and identity management systems and to protect TCIN's network, systems, and data.
• Develop and maintain IAM policies, procedures, and standards.
• Manage RBAC, Least Privileges and segregation of duties
• Implement Privileged Access Mgmt solution
• Ensure Compliance with regulatory requirements. Work with cross-functional teams to integrate IAM solutions with other security systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve IAM system issues.
• Conduct IAM system Audits and vulnerability assessments. Responsible for the thorough documentations of implementations, via technical documentation and run books.
• Work with IT and Operations team members to implement and deploy IAM solutions to improve overall cybersecurity posture.
• Develop automation scripts for better security controls and drive efficiencies.
• Assist with threat and risk reporting.
• Work with Toyota's existing global security organization to ensure knowledge sharing and collaboration

You are a successful candidate if

• 5+ years of experience in IAM domain in a cloud-based infrastructure environment
• Proven experience working on Information Security teams.
• Expertise with IAM software such as Active Directory, AzureAD,Okta
• Strong understanding of security principles, standards, and best practices.
• Expertise using and implementing modern identity security concepts
• Experience with security incident response and management.
• Experience with security risk assessment and management.
• Hands-on experience LINUX / UNIX and scripting (Bash, Python, and/or Powershell)
• Knowledge of networking protocols such as HTTP, DNS and TCP/IP
• Excellent problem solving, interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
• Experience working in a fast-paced, Agile environment

Nice-To-Have:

• Experience with cloud security posture tools like Orca.
• Relevant industry certifications including, but not limited to, Microsoft MCP
