Job Description

Job Title - Project Engineer

Report to - Team Lead

Job related competencies

• Strong level of expertise in Integrated Architecture, Component and Architecture Class Standard Drives, Drive Migration/Upgradation.
• Intermediate level of expertise in Industry Knowledge (Metal Processing Lines -CGL/CCL/Slitter/Rewinding Line/ etc).
• Coordinated Drive systems, Caster, Blast Furnace, Hot Rolling Mill), Application Knowledge, Training Skills, and basic understanding of Project Management, EHS (Environment, Health & Safety).
• AC and DC drive selection based on Motor load and application, Good Working Knowledge of AC/DC drives based on application like Metal Processing Line etc.
• Intermediate level of expertise in Integrated Architecture, Component and Architecture Class Standard Drives, Intelligent Motor Control, Safety Product, Component Industry Control, Networks and a basic understanding of Motion Control, Low Voltage Product and Drive System.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors in Instrumentation / Control / Electronics.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in automation engineering on PLC (Rockwell - Control Logix, PLC 5, Compact Logix), experience in automation engineering on Drive application engineering and design
• Should have gone through complete project life cycle from design phase to commissioning.
• Should have exposure to various industry domains such as Metals & mining, Pulp & Paper , food & beverages, Automobiles, manufacturing, tires, power control, Process, Consumer Packaged goods.
• Rockwell Automation Products(PLC & Drives) experience would be additional
