As an R&D cum Product Commercialization Executive specializing in the Mayonnaise & Sauces Division, you will play a critical role in driving product innovation, development, and successful commercialization within our company. Leveraging your expertise in this specific product category, you will lead the charge in bringing new mayonnaise and sauces products from concept to market, ensuring their quality, compliance, and commercial viability.
Product Development: Spearhead the development of new mayonnaise and sauces products from concept ideation to formulation and testing. Utilize your expertise in R&D to create innovative recipes that meet consumer preferences, market trends, and business objectives.
- Recipe Optimization: Continuously optimize existing mayonnaise and sauces recipes to enhance flavor profiles, texture, and shelf stability. Conduct sensory evaluations and consumer testing to gather feedback and refine formulations accordingly.
Quality Assurance: Ensure that all mayonnaise and sauces products meet quality and safety standards, including regulatory compliance and industry best practices. Collaborate with internal quality assurance teams and external partners to conduct thorough testing and validation.- Commercialization: Lead the commercialization process for new mayonnaise and sauces products, coordinating with cross-functional teams including production, procurement, marketing, and sales. Develop commercialization plans, set timelines, and oversee the execution of product launches.
Cost Optimization: Work closely with procurement and manufacturing teams to optimize product costs without compromising quality or taste. Identify opportunities for ingredient substitution, process improvements, and efficiency gains to maximize profitability.
- Market Analysis: Stay abreast of market trends, competitor activities, and consumer preferences within the mayonnaise and sauces category. Conduct market research and analysis to identify gaps and opportunities for product innovation and differentiation.
Documentation: Maintain accurate documentation throughout the product development lifecycle, including formulation records, testing results, and regulatory documentation. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements and internal quality standards.
Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or related field.- Minimum of 2 years of experience in R&D and product development, with a focus on mayonnaise and sauces.
Proven track record of successfully commercializing new food products within the FMCG industry.
- Strong understanding of food chemistry, ingredient functionality, and manufacturing processes related to mayonnaise and sauces.
Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and coordinate cross-functional teams.- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present technical information in a clear and concise manner.
