Position Description
A Quality Assurance Engineer working in critical equipment manufacturing plays a vital role in ensuring that the products meet stringent quality standards and regulatory requirements. Here are some typical responsibilities associated with this role
Primary Responsibilities
- Ensure that all manufacturing processes adhere to relevant quality standards and regulations, such as ISO standards, ASME (American Society of Mechanical Engineers) codes, or specific industry standards like those for aerospace or medical equipment.
- Develop and implement quality control procedures and protocols to monitor every stage of the manufacturing process, from raw material procurement to final product assembly. This includes conducting inspections, tests, and audits to identify any deviations from quality standards.
- Coordinate and perform product testing and validation activities to ensure that critical equipment meets performance requirements and specifications. This may involve conducting various tests such as stress tests, durability tests, and functional tests.
- Investigate and identify the root causes of quality issues or defects encountered during manufacturing or post-production. Implement corrective and preventive actions to address these issues and prevent recurrence.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of quality assurance activities, including test results, inspection reports, and non-conformity reports. Generate regular quality reports for management review and analysis.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including design engineering, production, supply chain, and customer support, to address quality-related issues and drive quality improvements throughout the product lifecycle.

- Mechanical testing knowledge in Tensile, Impact, hardness etc.,
- Calibration knowledge in various tools, instruments etc.,

Educational Qualifications Preferred
- Category: Engineering

- Degree: BE/B.Tech
Work Experience: 5 -8 years of relevant work experience.
