We are looking for a
Manufacturing Engineer to join our team in
Ambernath office on contract to develop and implement the manufacturing processes to maintain proper product functionality as well as cost efficiency. Ensures the engineering team and other manufacturing departments work together cohesively. Being a Manufacturing Engineer Manager is responsible for the development of equipment to aid in the manufacturing process. Reviews, evaluates, and implements engineering changes and specification requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in developing plant layout in planning rearrangement of facilities, equipment, and operations for better utilization of space.
- Asset management: Procurement and installation.
- Provides collaborative, supportive yet challenging leadership to the Technical Group personnel.
- Work closely with research and development, quality assurance to prevent problems with products and tooling/fixtures.
- Implantation of new manufacturing technologies and equipment to reduce cost through efficiencies.
- Lead continuous improvement plans/projects to KPIs such as yield, set up times, RFT, MTBF.
- Responsible for the attainment of the plant budget as it relates to the technical group expenses.
- Analyze and design lean manufacturing cells using effective systems and simulation tools to optimize, use of space, equipment, material, and manpower.
Requirements:
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or technical field with 8+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering.
- Knowledge of fundamental design practices including, problem definition, concept selection, proof of concept, and implementation,
- Requires strong project management and team building skills, and ability to establish priorities and work direction.
- Well-versed in relevant software (e.g. CAD, MS Office), Project management skills, Problem-solving ability
