- Reports to Engineering Manager.
- Be prime responsible for industrialization of new projects , including tools , assembly lines and testers
- Able to clearly understand the customer requirements and technical / product requirement as defined by PE team. Develop suitable manufacturing process in consultation with PE and core competency center
- Prepare, Ensure and maintain Bill of Process. Prepare Engineering and production documentation meeting Aptiv and customer / IATF audit requirements
- Identify robust, cost effective manufacturing solutions
- Work with CFT, automation / tooling team and suppliers for timely completion of projects
- Develop and qualify all jigs and fixtures required
- Prepare maintenance plan for machine and tools
- Provide training to team members.
- Other tasks assigned
- Work with quality team for qualification of part and process . Support PPAP activities
- Working knowledge in SAP , NXCAD
- Selection of Special Characteristics
- Cross-functional coordination, instruction, documentation, problem resolution.
- Manufacturing improvements, which impact quality, cost and delivery with respect to new projects.
- Relevant customer communications.
- Complying to CSR
