Region: Indian Sub-Continent (India, Bangladesh, Sri-Lanka, Nepal).
Business unit: ECK - Gravimetric feeders, pneumatic conveying, and refill systems.
Based on the evaluated information it is the responsibility of the position to develop and implement a business plan for market growth.
Main Tasks
- Continuous monitoring of industry and market trends and analysis of its impact on our business.
- Primary and secondary industry research, data analysis and delivering valuable insights which can be transformed into actionable initiatives and strategies across the whole business.
- Develop potential new customer database based on the research.
- Prepare market development plans based on the gathered and analyzed information.
- Structure the required infrastructure to execute the market development plan (sales channel, localization of engineering, manufacturing, product line adaptations with the R&D team)
- Execute the market development plan to expand the business with all necessary associated partners.
- Support in the creation of various marketing materials and align with marketing on required actions to support the market development plan.
- Conduct Root Cause & Countermeasure exercise to understand why we deviated from the plan and what are required actions to achieve the targets.
- Continuous data driven tracking of the market.
- Progress on the market development execution
- Order intake vs. plan for the defined new market areas
Required Education and professional expertise
- Experience in Plastics, Chemical, Mineral, Battery industry is a must.
- Knowledge about plastics, chemical and mineral processing industry preferred.
- Base education: BE/B.Tech (Polymer Science, Mechanical, Chemical preferred)/BBA/MBA
- Experience: 4-6 years.
- In-depth user knowledge of common MS software products - Excel, PowerPoint etc.
- Experience in an international company with a global focus
- Relevant experience in Marketing, Management Consulting or similar a plus
- Affinity across a variety of functions in an industrial environment is beneficial (Strategy, Marketing, Product, Operations, Finance, Sales, Service, etc)
- Fluent in English and Hindi (written and spoken)
