- You will lead the operations team and contribute to building processes and tools that allow monitoring, diagnosing, and debugging of the platform services and its hosted applications.
- You will architect, design, and implement improvements in process and tools to improve global cloud stability and resilience.
- You will contribute to scalable, secure, highly available infrastructure on a variety of platforms such as Redhat Linux, Microsoft Windows, Cohesity, VMWare and other related technologies and get exposure to various cutting-edge tools and technologies.
Technical Skills
- 15+ years of experience as Linux Engineer/Administrator.
- Python Scripting knowledge (must have), along with shell scripting/ruby.
- In-depth knowledge of RHEL 7/8 Strong Linux system administration (RedHat) and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience in Production Server Environment, Physical server builds & KVMs.
- Solid ability to troubleshoot a variety of performance issues (with cpu/mem/disk) and other problems.
- Performance tuning in RedHat Linux Good knowledge of basic Networking (TCP/UDP/DNS/Subnets etc)
- Strong understanding of init scripts, filesystems and other sysadmin essentials.
- Good knowledge and experience on Raid Levels.
- Experience with system management tools, logical file systems etc Experience in managing enterprise Linux environment with 1000 s of physical servers.
- Knowledge in physical server hardware. Demonstrate excellent communication skills including the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external teams. RedHat Satellite Server knowledge or any other system build tools. Knowledge of configuration management tools like Puppet,
- Ansible Experience on any disaster recovery (DR) process/procedures.
- Monitoring of Linux servers using Nagios/icinga/Splunk or any monitoring tool
- Knowledge of Python/BASH required, prior experience writing python/bash scripts with 100 s lines of code.
- Python/BASH functions, loops, command line arguments Certification in RedHat Linux & Hadoop knowledge will be an added advantage.
