- The Quality Assurance Engineer II is a mid-level position within the quality assurance team responsible for planning, designing, and executing test strategies and ensuring the quality and reliability of products, systems, or software
- Key Responsibilities:Test Planning: Collaborate with product managers and development teams to create comprehensive test plans and test cases
- Test Execution: Execute test cases, automated and manual, to ensure the product meets quality standards and functional requirements
- Defect Identification: Identify, document, and track defects, providing detailed information to development teams for resolution
- Test Automation: Contribute to or develop test automation scripts and frameworks to streamline and automate testing processes
- Regression Testing: Perform regression testing to validate that changes or updates do not adversely affect existing functionalities
- Performance Testing: Conduct performance and load testing to assess system capabilities and performance under varying conditions
- Test Reporting: Generate test reports, including defect reports and test summaries, and provide status updates to stakeholders
- Continuous Improvement: Participate in the continuous improvement of QA processes, methodologies, and tools
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and quality assurance professionals, to ensure high-quality product delivery
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and organized documentation of test plans, test cases, and test results
