nReporting to the Pallavaram Repair Operations Leader, the Engineer - Engineering Operations will be responsible for the day-to-day execution of repair team activities. In this role, the Engineer - Engineering Operations will set the daily and weekly operation schedule, meet day-to-day objectives to drive on time delivery, TAT and lead resolution of issues through collaboration with cross functional teams.
nEssential Responsibilities
- nLead the daily RMA meeting, communicate updates and provides guidance on open issues to better the time for issue resolution.
- nSchedule and assign repair orders factoring in level of urgency, ensuring timely execution to meet customer expectations & business service level agreement.
- nManage and drive resolution with support teams (SAP)
- nUpdate daily reporting & tracking of RMA work orders including advance replacements.
- nEnsure ERP accuracy and up to date parts debrief.
- nManage TPV (Third Party Vendor) process.
- nCoordinate with all functions within repair team to ensure timely action on open tasks.
- nLead actions to uphold EHS & 5S standards on daily basis in the RMA repair areas.
- nAssist in the development and maintenance of operating procedures, work instructions ensuring alignment with business objectives and best practices.
- nCollaborate with the cross functional teams to schedule access to test equipment balancing between availability and meeting commitments.
- nSupport regional & internal teams on customer RMA process, logistics and actions.
- nMonitor and analyze RMA data for failure trends, review, validate and raise to repair leader.
- nParticipate in inventory review activities, contribute to strategic planning based on demand.
- nAdditionally, Coordinate end-to-end for Relay Spare Sales.
- nBackup to lead in the absence of the repair operations leader.
- nAdditional reporting and tasks within repair operations scope.
nQualification / Requirements:n
- BE / Diploma Mechanical or Electrical with min 5 years of similar experience.
