Management of projects from inception to on-site commissioning and client hand over.
Should be a single point contact for project Lifecyle.
Allocate resources and assign responsibilities for the development of detailed software code for automation, control, and energy management data acquisition applications.
Ensure that projects are completed to strict budgets and that project tracking documentation and variations are kept up to date for ongoing reviews.
Define the scope of projects in collaboration with senior management.
Creation of a detailed work plan which identifies and sequences the activities needed to successfully complete projects.
Responsible for all official communication with global/local stakeholders about project matters.
Monitor progress of projects whilst making any adjustments necessary to meet changing needs and requirements.
Manage day-to-day operational aspects on multiple projects.
Providing regular reports on progress to senior managers and the division manager.
Creation of project documents against strict timeframes to conform to client standards.
Negotiating with local/global contractors and suppliers for materials and services.
Ensure client satisfaction on project completion.
Evaluation of each projects performance and develop lessons learned for use on future projects.
Essential Criteria
Relevant experience in an Engineering / Manufacturing environment
Be efficiently organised and able to prioritise multiple tasks.
Knowledgeable background across a range of hardware and software PLC systems
Should be able to work with global clients and vendors.
Electrical/Automation/Control Engineering qualification with a minimum of 2 years relevant experience in a similar role.
Strong communication skills necessary to lead a project.
