- Performs routine support functions such as pre-determined test setups, testing of customer/internal hardware/software. Provide supervised support to other disciplines within the manufacturing process to bring designs to completion. These disciplines include operations, procurement, planning, program management, test, outside vendors, etc.
- Creates and updates with engineering oversite, BOMs, wiring diagrams, drawings, electrical schematics, test plans, training material, creation of O&M manuals for the customer, WISE and EFMS as necessary to support the project/team.
- Will be requested to support activities associated with the PLC process and department level procedures are adhered to for check-in to WPDS, EFMS and WISE.
- Attend design reviews internally to support resolution of technical and programming issues. Execute test plans for V&V efforts.
- Participate and complete action items as directed by cross-functional team members.
- Test or validate the equipment for the customer s application or to meet a marketing specification for standard product offerings.
- May participate in international and multi-site projects.
- May be requested to support engineering team in the selection of/and learn the functionality/interface of third party hardware.
- Support project team in translation of customer specifications and provide input to team and possible hardware or software tool selections
- May be required to assist in resolution of issues for field engineering, customers or field engineering.
- Learns through mentoring how to create standard report format to document activities and resolution to open issues or for potential customer submittal.
- Participates and implements process improvements company-wide.
Basic understanding of Diesel / Gas engines and Engine Management System
F amiliarization with Calibration tools like Toolkit, Inca etc.
