Role Description
This is a full-time role as an NPD Engineer at our facility in Dodda Ballapur. The NPD Engineer will be responsible for the day-to-day tasks related to new product development, including design, prototyping, testing, and analysis. The engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product quality, meet project timelines, and implement continuous improvements. This is an on-site role, and the engineer will work closely with the manufacturing team to ensure seamless production processes.
Qualifications
- Experience in New Product Developments, in the automotive components manufacturing domain
- Familiar with tools like APQP, Control plans & FMEA
- Proficiency in Autocad would be useful
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes, including Cold Forging, CNC machining, Projection welding, Heat treatment, and grinding
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Attention to detail and ability to meet project deadlines
- Experience in the automotive industry is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
