Job Profile

KRA:-

• Building simulation (Energy & Day-Lighting)
• Micro-climate studies (Shading analysis, sun-path analysis, solar insolation, wind flow etc.)
• Client interaction for Design
• Preparation of simulation reports

Job Description:-

• Lead a team of Building simulation engineers to deliver simulation studies for Green Building (LEED/IGBC/GRIHA) compliance.
• Plan the simulation work on monthly basis and distribute work among team members.
• Coordinate with Facilitation team to ensure project information is available on time to carry out simulations.
• Weekly review the progress of work with team members.
• Ensure quality simulation reports for new projects and review replies so that targeted number of points are achieved for the project.
• Understand owner's requirement in terms of building architectural and Electro-Mechanical systems
• Independently develop project model in simulation software and provide various energy conservation alternatives to the client.
• Prepare detailed Energy / Daylight simulation report
• Present the report and clarify all the issues pertaining to design, materials and cost
• Close interaction with client and other consultants for timely receipt of design inputs and revisions
• Submission of energy credits for LEED/IGBC/GRIHA review and provide clarifications to review comments.
• Interact with vendors of sustainable building materials and energy efficient technologies. Create database for the same.

Requisite Qualification

Essential

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical / Mechanical Engg. OR
• B.Arch

Requisite Experience

Essential

• Minimum 5 years

Special Skills Required

Essential

Proficient in any of the simulation softwares like E-quest, Visual DOE, Energy Plus, IES, etc.

Working experience in Eco-tect, Radiance, Relux, Dialux, etc. for lighting simulation

Auto-CAD (2D 3D with latest version)

Preferred

Excellent oral and written communication

Knowledge of CFD analysis will be preferrable
