We are looking for an experienced Energy Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in energy engineering and be able to apply their skills and knowledge to a variety of projects. This position requires a self-motivated individual with excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Conducting energy audits to identify opportunities for energy savings
- Developing energy efficiency strategies and recommending energy-efficient technologies
- Designing and implementing energy management systems
- Performing energy modeling and analysis
- Providing technical support to clients and project teams
- Preparing technical reports and presentations
- Managing projects and project teams
- Staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- 2-12 years of experience in energy engineering
- Strong knowledge of energy systems, including HVAC, lighting, and renewable energy
- Experience in conducting energy audits and implementing energy efficiency measures
- Proficiency in energy modeling software, such as eQuest or EnergyPlus
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Project management experience
- Professional certifications, such as Certified Energy Manager (CEM) or Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Accreditation, are desirable
