Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Endpoint Management Specialist to manage and support the organization's endpoint management infrastructure, specifically utilizing Microsoft Intune and System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM). In this role, you will be responsible for configuring, deploying, securing, and maintaining devices across the enterprise. You will work closely with the IT Operations team to ensure that endpoint management is aligned with organizational policies and security standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Endpoint Management:
- Implement and manage mobile device management (MDM) and mobile application management (MAM) solutions using Microsoft Intune.
- Administer System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) for managing physical and virtual endpoints across the organization.
- Manage Windows Autopilot and other deployment technologies to provision devices quickly and securely.
Security & Compliance:
- Develop and enforce security policies for endpoint devices, including enforcing encryption, password policies, and application whitelisting.
- Implement security updates and patches through Intune and SCCM to ensure all devices are compliant with organizational security standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to endpoint security, compliance, and deployment.
Deployment & Configuration:
- Deploy operating systems, applications, and configurations to devices using SCCM and Intune.
- Automate and streamline device lifecycle management, from provisioning to retirement.
- Monitor and maintain endpoint health and performance using SCCM and Intune reporting tools.
User Support & Troubleshooting:
- Provide end-user support for device-related issues, including OS, application, and security-related problems.
- Work with support teams to resolve device-related incidents and escalations.
Documentation & Reporting:
- Create and maintain technical documentation for endpoint management processes, policies, and configurations.
- Generate regular reports on device compliance, deployments, and security updates.
Collaboration & Communication:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including infrastructure, security, and network teams, to ensure successful endpoint management integration.
- Keep stakeholders informed of endpoint management status, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
Experience:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience managing and supporting endpoint devices using Microsoft Intune and System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM).
- Experience with Windows Autopilot, MDM policies, and cloud-based management solutions.
- Proven ability to manage large-scale endpoint deployments and configurations.
Technical Skills:
- Strong experience with Microsoft Intune for managing Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android devices.
- Hands-on experience with SCCM (System Center Configuration Manager) for endpoint deployment, patch management, and monitoring.
- Familiarity with Azure Active Directory (AAD), Active Directory (AD), and Group Policy.
- Knowledge of PowerShell scripting for automation and troubleshooting.
- Understanding of endpoint security protocols, encryption, VPN, and mobile device management principles.
Certifications (preferred but not required):
- Microsoft Certified: Endpoint Administrator Associate (or equivalent Intune/SCCM certification).
- Microsoft Certified: Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals.
- CompTIA Security+ or similar security certifications.
Soft Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple priorities effectively.
