IT employee experience operations engineer

nPosition Overview:
nWe are looking for two proactive and detail-oriented Employee Technology Operations Engineers to oversee the day-to-day operation and maintenance of our internal technology systems. This role will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, security, and efficiency of our employee-facing IT services, including hardware, software, security and regulatory compliance.
nResponsibilities:n
- Monitor employee technology hardware health and performance, proactively identifying and addressing issues, escalating to service desk or engineering teams when necessary.
- nConduct regular benchmarking and performance testing of employee technology systems to identify bottlenecks, optimize configurations, and improve overall efficiency.
- nConduct pre- and post-benchmarking performance testing for patches and updates to identify any adverse effects on system performance.
- nManage tickets escalated to engineering teams and vendors, ensuring active resolution feedback and priority alignment.
- nRun compliance reports and audits to ensure adherence to patch levels, internal policies, industry regulations, and security standards.
- nDocument system configurations, processes, and procedures to facilitate knowledge sharing and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- nAssist with inventory management of IT assets, ensuring accurate tracking and lifecycle management.
- nMonitor service availability and errors in SaaS platforms, proactively troubleshooting and escalating issues as needed.
- nAssist with inventory management of software applications used by employees, ensuring compatibility, performance, and security.
nRequirements:
- nA degree in computer science, information technology or related field.
nAn equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
- nExperience in a similar role, with a focus on employee technology support and operations.
- nExperience supporting Windows 11 and macOS operating systems, as well as the Microsoft Office 365 suite.
- nFamiliarity with endpoint management tools such as Microsoft Intune, JamF Pro, or SCCM.
- nProficiency in managing Zoom and Office 365 platforms, including administration, user management, and troubleshooting.
- nProficiency with tools such as Excel and PowerBI
- nFamiliarity with modern mobile operating systems (iOS, Android).
- nFamiliarity with ITIL framework and service management principles.
- nAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- nExcellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues.
- nExcellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
