Employee Benefit Insurance Sales and Development Regional Head
Position Overview: As the Employee Benefit Insurance Sales and Development Head, you will be responsible for leading and managing the sales team focused on employee benefit insurance products. Your primary objective will be to develop and execute strategic initiatives to drive sales growth, expand market presence, and enhance client relationships within the employee benefits insurance segment.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy Development:
Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies aligned with company goals and objectives to increase sales of employee benefit insurance products.
Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and customer segmentation to identify opportunities for growth and innovation.
Set ambitious yet achievable sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs) for the employee benefit insurance sales team.
Team Leadership and Management:
Recruit, train, mentor, and manage a team of employee benefit insurance sales professionals.
Provide leadership, guidance, and support to the sales team to ensure they meet or exceed sales targets and performance metrics.
Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to drive continuous improvement and professional development.
Client Relationship Management:
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients, including businesses, organizations, and human resources professionals seeking employee benefit insurance solutions.
Collaborate closely with clients to understand their unique insurance needs and tailor employee benefit packages accordingly.
Address client inquiries, concerns, and feedback promptly and effectively to ensure high levels of satisfaction and retention.
Sales Operations and Performance Monitoring:
Oversee all aspects of employee benefit insurance sales operations, including lead generation, prospecting, sales presentations, and contract negotiations.
Monitor sales performance, pipeline activity, and conversion rates using relevant sales analytics tools.
Identify areas for process optimization and implement sales initiatives to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Product Development and Innovation:
Work closely with product development teams to identify market trends and customer needs, and develop new employee benefit insurance products and solutions.
Collaborate with marketing teams to create promotional campaigns and materials to drive awareness and adoption of employee benefit insurance offerings.
Stay informed about industry regulations and compliance requirements related to employee benefit insurance products.
Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
Proven track record of success in sales leadership roles within the insurance industry, with specific sales and business development experience in employee benefit insurance.
Strong leadership abilities with the capacity to inspire and motivate a sales team towards achieving targets.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends to inform strategic decisions.
Proficiency in sales management software and CRM systems.
Thorough understanding of employee benefit insurance products, regulations, and compliance requirements.
