Our client, based in Korea, is seeking an experienced Embedded Software Engineer specializing in L2 and L3 switch technologies to join our team. This role involves the development and ongoing maintenance of projects in the networking field, where you'll work alongside a dynamic team to bring forward-thinking solutions to life.

Type of role: 100% Full-time remote or Relocate to Korea (Sponsor)

Role and Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain embedded software for networking projects, focusing on L2/L3 switch functionality.
• Utilize expertise in C/C++ for real-time embedded systems to deliver robust, high-quality solutions.
• Work with L2/L3 networking protocols (such as VLAN, STP, OSPF, BGP) and handle software debugging and troubleshooting.
• Operate within Linux/Unix environments, leveraging networking software stacks.
• Integrate hardware and software for network devices and perform analysis with tools like Wireshark and TCPDump.
• Collaborate within an Agile development framework to ensure efficient project progression.

Required Qualifications:

• Proven experience in embedded software development, preferably within the networking domain.
• Strong proficiency in C/C++ and real-time embedded systems.
• Demonstrated experience with L2/L3 networking protocols and software debugging.
• Working knowledge of Linux/Unix environments and networking software stacks.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in hardware-software integration for networking devices.
• Familiarity with network analysis tools such as Wireshark and TCPDump.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and their application in project development.

Language and Experience Requirements:

• C Programming: Intermediate level with 3+ years of experience (preferred).
• English Language: Must have.
